A Review of Shunt Active Power Filters with Fuzzy Logic Controller

A review of shunt active power filter with fuzzy logic controller discuss in this paper.This is due to the increasing presence on the network of nonlinear loads; they constitute a harmonic pollution source of to the network, which generate many disturbances, and disturb the optimal operation of electrical equipments. In this work, we propose a solution to eliminate the harmonics introduced by the nonlinear loads. This paper presents the review analysis of a three-phase active power filter (APF) compensating the harmonics and reactive power created by nonlinear balanced and unbalanced low power loads in steady state and in transients.
