In this article, it is contended that a consolidated humanities/neuroscience field of enquiry can make a critical and unmistakable commitment to the investigation of the connection among culture and the mind. This field, which can suitably be named as neuroanthropology, is imagined as being reciprocal to and commonly educational with social and social neuroscience.
