Abstract

Characteristic Ideals and Fuzzy Characteristic Ideals of Γ-Semigroups

In this paper the correspondence between the set of all automorphisms of a Γ-semigroup S and those of its operator semigroups have been established. The notions of characteristic ideal and fuzzy characteristic ideal of a semigroup have also been extended to the general setting of Γ-semigroups. Then a bijection between the set of all fuzzy characteristic ideals of a Γ-semigroup S and that of its left operator semigroup has been obtained. This is used to obtain a similar bijection for characteristic ideals.
