We report the case of a 30-year-old man who presented with NYHA I-II class and combined findings of idiopathic dilated cardiomyopathy and left ventricular non compaction at left ventricular angiogram. Coronary angiography was normal and 6-month follow-up uneventful. This case supports the hypothesis linking idiopathic dilated cardiomyopathy and left ventricular non compaction.
