Editorial Note for Annals and Essences of Dentistry

I am pleased to introduce Annals and Essences of Dentistry (AED) (https://www.longdom.org/annals-essences-dentistry.html) a rapid peer reviewed Journal which has key concerns about multidisciplinary topics that includes physical sciences with material sciences, engineering and technology. Journal main aim is to encourage the latest developments and innovations for publication on the open access platform as research articles, reviews, case studies, commentaries, short communication and the letters to the editor.

The Journals aims to flourish and to maintain the standards in research and practice, provide platform and opportunity for researcher to present their research work and analytical assessment of research and probably it is much in deed for students, teachers and professors.

Annals and Essences of Dentistry focuses on all the broader as well as specific areas of research in the fields such as rare disorders and medicine, Oral radiology, Oral and maxillofacial surgery, Orthodontics, Oral implants, Oral epidemiology, Pediatric dentistry, Dental materials, Endodontics, Periodontology, Prosthodontics, Community and public health dentistry, etc.

During the calendar year of 2019, AED received a total of 20 manuscript, out of which 20% articles were rejected in the preliminary screening due to plagiarism or being out of the format and peer review process. During 2019 around 10 articles were subjected for publication after they are accepted in the peer review process. In the 2 issues of Volume 11 published during the year 2019, a total of 12 articles were published (at an average of 4 articles per issue) of which, articles were published from authors all around the world. Globally articles have been accessed by the research scientists and also cited.

I take this opportunity to acknowledge the contribution of our reviewers for their exceptional support during the open access process and the managing editor during the final editing of articles published and the support, in bringing out issues of AED in time. I would also like to express my gratitude to all the authors, reviewers, the publisher, the advisory and the editorial board of AED, the office bearers for their support in bringing out yet another volume of AED and look forward to their unrelenting support to bring out the Volume 12 of AED in scheduled time. With their support, we have released the new volume (Volume 12) of AED for the calendar year 2020. We have released 3 issues in Volume 12, and we look forward to bringing out the Issue 3 of the Annals and Essences of Dentistry (AED) in the month of October.
