ORTHOGONAL STABILITY OF A MIXED TYPE ADDITIVE AND QUADRATIC FUNCTIONAL EQUATION

In this paper, the authors investigate the orthogonal stability of a mixed type additive and quadratic functional equation of the form f(x+2y)+f(x−2y)+4f(x) = 3[f(x+y)+f(x−y)]+f(2y)−2f(y) (0.1) with x ⊥ y, where ⊥ is orthogonality in the sense of R¨atz.
