Abstract

Sustainable Energy in Himalayas: A Case Study on Solar Power Development in Uttarakhand

This research paper explores the current status of solar power implementation in Uttarakhand, assessing the existing scenario and identifying key challenges and opportunities. Uttarakhand, with its unique geographical and environmental characteristics, holds significant potential for solar energy utilization. Additionally, the paper investigates governmental and private sector schemes aimed at expanding solar power infrastructure in the region.
