Targeting Cancer Stem Cells: Novel Approaches and Therapeutic Perspectives

Cancer Stem Cells (CSCs) are a subpopulation of tumor cells characterized by their ability to self-renew and differentiate, playing a key role in tumor initiation, progression, and resistance to conventional therapies [1]. Understanding the unique properties of CSCs is essential for developing targeted therapeutic strategies aimed at improving cancer treatment outcomes.
