Abstract

Transport-Satisfaction of Different Levels of Passenger’s with Reference to Guntur Apsrtc Region – A Case Study

The problem of Transport-satisfaction has become a point of serious debate in all countries of the world. Even within a nation there may be wide regional variations in the level of working class consciousness, conditions, etc. Therefore, in order to understand the dynamics of Transport-satisfaction in India a regional study on them of Transportsatisfaction is required to be undertaken. The present study of Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) is a step forward in this direction. A little disruption in the work of the Corporation may lead to enormous losses. This necessitates understanding as to what factors are responsible for maintaining industrial harmony in the corporation. It is in this backdrop that the present study is of immense relevance and makes a humble contribution to the understanding on improving passenger’s attitude through Transport-satisfaction in this Corporation.
