It is concerned with understanding, predicting, and influencing human behavior in the workplace to improve outcomes such as performance, job satisfaction, and overall organizational success. This includes topics like personality, perception, attitudes, motivation, and learning processes of individual employees. Organizational Behavior (OB) describes how individuals form groups, their dynamics (like leadership, communication, and decision-making), and how these groups influence organizational outcomes. This involves the formal and informal arrangements of roles, responsibilities, and relationships within an organization, including aspects like hierarchy, authority, and organizational culture. OB studies the processes and interactions that occur within organizations, such as communication patterns, conflict resolution, and organizational change.
