Biography

I've been trained as a plasma physicist. As such, I have been engaged in nuclear fusion research. Today, I am working about stability of gas turbine burners against spontaneous, dangerous thermo-acoustic instabilities (AKA 'humming') which transform combustion energy into mechanical energy and may destroy low-pollution, high-power burners. To this purpose, I take advantage of previously developed skills, like non-equilibrium thermodynamics and non-linear analysis.
