Biography
Dr. Allan R Mottram is an Assistant Professor in the University of Wisconsin Division of Emergency Medicine, where he has been on the faculty since 2009. He attended medical school at the University of Colorado, trained in emergency medicine at the University of Chicago, and pursued toxicology fellowship training at the University of Illinois at Chicago/Cook County Hospital. His research interests focus on the electrophysiology of toxic drug induced cardiac sodium channel blockade and the cardioprotective effects essential fatty acids, using single cell isolation and voltage clamp techniques.
