Dr. Almas Jabeen is the Research Officer at Panjwani Center for Molecular Medicine and Drug Research. She has 9 research publications in reputed international journals, one US patent granted and one published.

Research Interest

Dr. Almas Jabeen research interests include the immunomodulatory activities of natural/synthetic compounds, and analyzing their effects on cellular immune responses (stimulatory/ inhibitory). Mainly exploring how natural compounds suppress inflammatory cytokines involved in rheumatoid arthritis e.g. IL-1, TNF alpha by down regulating their production. She also manages immunomodulatory bioassay screening activities, besides the study of T and B cell responses.
