  Unicentric Retroperitoneal Castleman Disease Presenting with Pleural Effusion

  Castleman disease (Angiofollicular Lymph Node Hyperplasia AFH) is a rare lymphoproliferative disorder that is especially uncommon in the retroperitoneal area. We report a case of 32 year old male who was complaining of shortness of breath and was found to have right sided pleural effusion. Further investigations revealed right sided retroperitoneal mass which was completely excised laparoscopically. Pathologic diagnosis came out as Castleman disease.
