Angelos Halaris

Biography

Dr. Angelos Halaris is a psychiatrist in Maywood, IL and is affiliated with Loyola University Medical Center. He received his medical degree from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich Faculty of Medicine and has been in practice 50 years. He also speaks multiple languages, including Greek and German. He is experienced in major depressive disorder, bipolar disorders, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and delirium. He is an expert in psychopharmacology and psychotherapy including individual, couples, and group therapies.

Research Interest

 I am presently conducting clinical/translational research on the psychoimmunology of affective disorders.
