She is awarded PhD in Specialist Ophthalmology from University of Adelaide, Australia in the1989. Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in from University of Dundee in the 1983. She has extended her valuable service as an Professor in University of Saarland for 4 years and has been a recipient of many award and grants. Currently, she is working as an Professor for University of Basel. Her international experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study. Her research interests as a Professor reflect in her wide range of publications in various national and international journals. She is the Editorial Board Member of Journal of clinical and experimental ophthalmology and serves as a member of various associationsFMH (Swiss Medical Association), Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology International Society for Clinical Electrophysiology of Vision and serves as a member of various associations apart from being an author for many American Academy of Ophthalmology, Deutscher Hochschulverband
