While bullous pemphigoid has been associated with a number of medical conditions and drugs, the link with acquired hemophilia (AH) has not been widely reported. AH is a rare yet life-threatening autoimmune disorder with an estimated mortality rate ranging from 8-22%. A PubMed search revealed fifteen cases of AH reported in patients with bullous pemphigoid (BP).
