Biography

Dr. Arabinda Acharya is currently Associate Professor of Homeland Security Studies at Rabdan Academy, Abu Dhabi. He is a former Associate Professor of IR at the National Defense University, USA. He worked for 12 years as Research Fellow and Head of Strategic Projects at the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies, Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, before moving to the United States. PhD in International Relations (Australia), a MSc Strategic Studies (Singapore), a MA in Political Science and Bachelor’s degree in Law (India). His research interests are – Regionalism, Human Security, Terrorism & Political Violence & Maritime Security.
