Prof Asad U Khan has received his PhD in Biochemistry from Aligarh Muslim University during the period of 1998 currently; he is working as Professor in Aligarh Muslim University. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities as Head of the Department. His research has included Drug designing, drug resistance and proteomics. Based on this research and fellowship training he has received several awards and honors, such as National Bioscience Award of Government of India, Alembic Award, Young Scientist Award , Researcher of The Year Award of University, and Best Teacher Award of University e.tc. He is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals like PLOS One, Microbiological Research, Bioinformation, Asian Journal of Tropical Medicine, Genomic Proteomics and Bioinformatics & expert Reviewers for journals like Biochemistry, Journal of Antomicrobial Chemotherapy, Journal of Biological Chemistry etc. He has authored over 150 research articles/books.
