Biography

Athanassios C. Tsikliras received his MSc (Oceanography) from the University of Southampton, UK in 1998 and his PhD (Fish Biology and Fisheries) from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece in 2004. He worked as a researcher at the Fisheries Research Institute of Kavala (1999-2002), as a research fellow at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2004-2008) and as a lecturer at the University of Thessaly (2009-2012). Since January 2013, he is Associate Professor at the Laboratory of Ichthyology, School of Biology, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece.
