Biography
Berthold Lausen joined the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Essex. He has 34 years of experience as medical and trial statistician and data scientist. He contributed to the first conference of the International Federation of Classification Societies (IFCS) in 1987 with a cutting-edge proposal of a three-objects variance estimator and parametric bootstrap to evaluate the confidence and stability of estimated phylogenies with DNA-DNA hybridisation data.
