Biography

Dr. Wajid Waheed Bhat is a Postdoctoral Research Associate (Hamberger lab) in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Michigan State University. My research is broadly focused on the biosynthesis, regulation, and metabolic engineering of plant specialized metabolites, particularly terpenoids. Prior to this, I was a postdoc at SCION (New Zealand Forest Research Institute) where I worked on the Engineering of Pinus radiata for high-value terpene production.
