  The number of Total Hip Arthroplasties (THAs) in England is increasing. Careful analysis of THA radiographs, by both orthopaedic surgeons and radiologists, is key to ascertaining both the short and the long-term survival and function of the implants in question. The aim of this article is to provide the reader with a systematic approach to assessing post-operative THA radiographs, with sufficient knowledge to critique the procedure and assess for complications.
