Dana R Abendschein

Biography

Dana Abendschein currently works in the Center for Cardiovascular Research in the Division of Cardiology/Internal Medicine at Washington University in St. Louis. His research is focused on development of new therapeutics to prevent thrombosis, reperfusion injury, and heart failure after myocardial infarction without increasing the risk of bleeding as well as non-invasive detection of unstable plaque and myocardial fibrosis.
