Deborah is a Nutritionist with the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT as an Associate Scientist. She joined Bioversity in 2013 and her work is currently focused on understanding and enhancing food environments, consumer behavior and dietary intakes to support access, availability and consumption of healthy diets from sustainable food systems. This involves research on diets in low- and middle-income settings, enhancing the utilization of agrobiodiversity, and integrating nutrition in farming and seed system interventions to enhance food security and nutrition outcomes.
