Biography
Aerobic granular sludge was cultivated in a sequencing batch reactor fed with brewery wastewater. After nine-week operation, stable granules with sizes of 2–7 mm were obtained. With the granulation, the SVI value decreased from 87.5 to 32 mL/g.
