Ena Ray Banerjee is an Associate Professor at Department of Zoology University of Calcutta, and Research interest in basic biology also includes studies on molecular regulation of hematopoiesis, leukocyte homing and memory. Areas of core competence are Inflammation Biology with particular emphasis on studies in Asthma, Allergy and lung diseases like COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Diseases) and IPF (Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis) as well as Stem cell and Regenerative Medicine.
