Biography
Fazlina Nordin works as a Research Fellow at King's College London, she received her BSc. degree in Microbiology with Honor from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 2002, and M.Med.Sc. (Pathology) degree in 2006. She studied on hematopoietic stem cell (HSC) during her Ph.D., finding ways to expand the numbers of HSC without genetic modification for safer clinical applications. Since then, stem cell niche has become her research interest, including working on induced pluripotent cell (iPSC), mesenchymal stem cell (MSC), and cord blood (CB).
