Biography
George Panayiotakis was born in Chania, Crete, Greece, in 1956. He completed his B.Sc. studies in the Department of Physics at the University of Patras (1974-1979) and received his PhD in Medical Physics in 1986 from the Department of Medicine of the same University. During his PhD studies, he collaborated with the Institutes KCARE, London, and FAXIL, Leeds.
