  Magnitude of Unintended Pregnancy and its Determinants among Pregnant Women Visiting Dilla University Referral Hospital, South Ethiopia

  Background: Unintended pregnancy is important maternal public health concern both in the developing and developed world. The proportion of unintended pregnancies is alarmingly high in Ethiopia and there is enormous information gap on the determinants of unwanted and mistimed pregnancy. Objectives: To determine magnitude of unintended pregnancy and its determinants among pregnant women visiting antenatal and postnatal care clinic at Dilla University Referral Hospital. Methods: Institution based cross-sectional study was conducted on 290 women attending antenatal clinic and Postnatal women at Dilla University Referral Hospital from February to June, 2016.
