Biography
Dr. Huynh-Nhu Le Completed Ph.D. 1997, from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The ultimate goal of her research program is to develop and evaluate interventions which will prevent perinatal depression among low-income Spanish- and English-speaking pregnant women and new mothers. Her current work focuses on cultural adaptation and evaluation of perinatal depression preventive interventions for low-income ethnic minority populations; feasibility of integrating mental healthscreening and interventions in various primary care settings; US and international interests.
