Biography
Dr. Arthos obtained a Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania, and subsequently worked as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at The Stanford University School of Medicine. He is currently a Staff Scientist in the Laboratory of Immunoregulation in the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases on the NIH campus in Bethesda Maryland. He began working on the HIV-1 envelope protein and its interaction with cell surface receptors under the direction of Raymond Sweet and Marty Rosenberg at SmithKline.
