Biography
Dr. James G. Jollis is a cardiologist in Durham, North Carolina and is affiliated with UNC Rex Hospital. He received his medical degree from Ohio State University College of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years. Currently, his work extends the findings of randomized controlled trials of coronary artery disease treatment (efficacy) to the general application of these treatments in the overall population (effectiveness). The two major sources of data concerning medical effectiveness involve large insurance claims analysis files, and secondary data from randomized controlled trials.
