Associate Professor Joe Tiralongo was awarded his PhD in 2001 and has since been pursuing his broad research interests in glycobiology, and mirco- and nano-technology both in Australia and internationally. He has been a Research Leader at the Institute for Glycomics, Griffith University, since 2003, and was appointed Associate Professor at the School of Environment and Science, Griffith University in 2016.
