Dr. S. D. Joshi completed his B. Pharm from Karnatak University, Dharwad, M. Pharm from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and Ph.D from Kuvempu University, Shimoga. Presently, Dr. Joshi is a Professor and Head, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, having 16 years of teaching and 13 years of research experience
