Research Professor in pulmonary pharmacology and models of asthma, COPD and viral infection. Interests in steroid-resistant inflammation and viral execerbations of asthma. Cardiovascular actions of dietary trace amines and amphetamines, including cathinone (khat) and ecstacy. Drug testing in these areas. Educational experience available as PhD/MSc examiner. Advise on Research Excellence Framework (REF) in pharmacology, pharmacy and bioscience. Lectures on above topics
