Bacillus cereus is an aerobic Gram-positive spore forming rod that is ubiquitous in the environment. A case of severe infection due to Bacillus cereus isolated on the tip of central venous catheter (CVC) of a patient with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is reported here.
