Kun Yang

Biography

Kun Yang is currently Ph.D candidate in Pathobiology program at Brown University. She is a molecular biologist and pathologist with 9+ years academic research experience. She have a broad interest from embryo and postnatal development to causative mechanisms and early diagnosis of clinical diseases, such as osteoarthritis, ostoporosis, craniosynostosis, breast and ovarian cancer. Kun has mentored several students and guided them to win research presentation competitions. She is fluent in both English and Chinese. She is graduating in 2015 as a Ph. D in Biological and Biomedical Sciences and M.S in Cell and Molecular Biology.
