Biography

In comparison with non-occlusive lesions, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) of chronic total occlusions (CTO) represents a greater challenge for the interventionalist, due to lower procedural success rates, relatively higher incidence of procedural complications and the increased rate of restenosis.
