Biography
Manuel Sarasa studied Veterinary Medicine at the University of Zaragozain 1980 and obtained his doctorate in 1985 with an Extraordinary Prize. He has more than 30 years of experience in research, especially in Alzheimer's disease. He was the scientific founder of the biotech company Araclon Biotech in 2004. Inventor of several biotech patents related to the diagnosis and treatment of Alzheimer's disease. His greatest achievement was the design of a vaccine, which is in phase II of its clinical trial , and he designed a diagnostic kit for the early detection of this terrible neurodegenerative disease.
