A Brief Overview on the Intracellular Regulation of Aquaporins by Pharmacological Agents

This Editorial makes a brief description of the principal pharmacological agents that have demonstrated effect on the transport properties of animal aquaporins. The recent discoveries of intracellular inhibitors, such as bumetanide and furosemide are included.
