Dr. Clayman is a dedicated health services and health communication researcher with two decades' experience in designing and carrying out studies related to patient engagement and healthcare decision-making. She is an internationally known scholar in the fields of shared decision-making and analysis of patient-provider interaction. Dr. Clayman uses both qualitative and quantitative methods to answer research questions related to the entirety of the patient experience.
