| Dr.Natalia is a biochemist and eco-physiologist with the main interest in studying the special adaptations of insects to survive the very cold winters of Yakutia (Far East, Russia). Natalia conducted detailed studies of some of the molecules associated with extreme cold tolerance of Siberian insects, especially ice nucleators, polyols, and antifreeze proteins. |
