Biography
Dr Neha Research interests lie around understanding the mechanism of hypoxia-induced thromboembolism and the development of natural scaffold-based novel antithrombotics. Venous thromboembolism is the third most common vascular disorder affecting worldwide. however, currently available antithrombotics possess certain limitations. Pertaining to this context, the ongoing research project deals with understanding the mechanism of polysulfated derivatives of natural scaffold in reducing thrombus formation, with an ultimate aim to develop better thromboprophylaxis.
