Biography

Nirupma Trehan Pati is working as Associate Professor Clinical & Cellular Transplant Immunology and Research in Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences, New Delhi, India. She was Invited Visit to the National Institute of Health, Maryland, USA, Innate Immunology Laboratory for one month from 5st Nov to 5th Dec, 2008 and got Best Poster Award in Indian society of Gastroenterology, Nov 2005.

 

Research Interest

• Regulatory parameters influencing outcome of immune response
• Mechanisms and different cellular phenotypes of innate and adaptive immunity in disease clearance or disease progression
• Phenotypic analysis of Natural killer cells, plasmacytoid, myeloid dendritic cells, and regulatory T cells in chronic infected patients
• Mechanism of pathogen interference with the functioning of the various components of the host, in order to ensure its survival
• Signaling network in controlling different phases of disease pathogenesis after HBV and HCV infection
• Receptor-mediated Notch signaling in liver, lymphocytes and in liver infiltrated lymphocytes
