Dr. Pelosi received his PhD in Medical Biotechnology from University of Bologna, Italy in 2006. He joined the Laboratory of Genetics â Human Genetics Section â at NIA/NIH in Baltimore as a postdoctoral Visiting Fellow under the direction of Dr. Schlessinger. He received the âNathan Shockâ award in 2008 from the NIA/NIH, and the âPremio Cattaneoâ award for young scientists in Italy in 2009. He recently accepted the position of Research Fellow at NIA/NIH.
