Biography

Dr Philip Rowlands graduated from Dundee University, Scotland.  He completed his higher Specialist Post graduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Newcastle-upon-Tyne obtaining Certificate of Completed Specialist Training.

 
Dr Rowlands obtained Membership of The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, London (1997), and Fellowship of Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in Gynaecological Surgery (2000).
 
He is a certified Colposcopist, obtaining his British Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology accreditation.
Research Interest

Philip K Rowlands main areas of research interest are in the fields of Gynaecological Pelvic Surgery, in particular, with Advanced Laparoscopic Procedures (Level 5/6), including total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy, Laparoscopic Myomectomy and treatment of Advanced Stage Endometriosis.
