Qing Xie is currently Director of the Department of Infectious Disease at Ruijin Hospital and Director of the Severe Viral Hepatitis Clinical Center at the Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. She has published over 100 articles and is a member of the editorial board of several journals including the Chinese Journal of Infectious Diseases. She is also the associate editor of two books: Hepatitis C-Clinical diagnosis and treatment, Drug-Induced and Toxic Liver Disease.
