Biography

Dr. Raimundo Wilson de Carvalho Graduated in Veterinary Medicine, a Masters's in Science in Veterinary Medicine at the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (1993), and a Ph.D. in Parasite Biology by The Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (1999). Currently, is a veterinarian of the Sérgio Arouca National Public Health School, Oswaldo Cruz Foundation. He has experience in Zoology with emphasis on Insecta Taxonomy and their role as biological vectors. Furthermore, the zoonotic risk rating generated by arthropods in general, the arthropods biodiversity. Nowadays is a member of the Ethics Committee on Animal (CEUA) of the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation.
