Dr. Ranahewa TH Research interests are on biotechnology, immunology, investigation of anti-cancer treatments, marine flora and algology. Excel at in-vitro cell culture techniques, colorimetric assays, proximate analysis, fatty acid analysis by Gas Chromatograph (GC), animal model experiments (mice, rats and rabbits), human clinical trials (cancer patients at General Hospital, Kandy, Sri Lanka) and molecular assays ( qPCR and RT PCR), immunohistochemistry and ELISA, etc
